Reseting win98 clock

If you are like me for years you have been annoyed every once in a while about the way that windows 98 shows your clock in 24 hour format. I never use 24 hour, and can't convert very fast (yes I know you just take away 12 but still), so I went to change it!

But I couldn't find how, first I tried double clicking on the clock, (Adjust Time and Date) this allows you to set the current time but no formating. So I went to control panel and found regional settings then clicked the time tab, Ah, here it is! time format (HH:mm:ss) but I still want hourhour:MinuteMinute etc. Maybe it always has to be stuck in 24 hour format...

I won't keep you waiting any longer, it turns out that capital H stands for 24 hour hour, and small h stands for 12 hour. So you probably want that box to say h:mm:ss this will give you 1 hour digit for 1-9 O'Clock and 2 digits for 10-12 o'clock. Ofcourse if you made it here tring to get the 24 time, then you need to use (HH:mm:ss)in the time format box.
